Freelance / Contract-Based

Full-Time (Depending on Project Scope)

Purpose:

To design, source, assemble, and manage comprehensive deployment kits for both internal field teams and corporate teams, ensuring readiness, consistency, and operational excellence through structured bill of materials (BOM) management, strategic sourcing, logistics coordination, and lifecycle support of deployable resources across diverse organizational contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. BOM Management:

Develop role- and department-specific BOMs (tools, software, credentials, personal gear).

Create modular, reusable kit templates (onboarding, field visits, executive travel).

Standardize and integrate BOMs into systems (ERP, HRIS, ITSM).

2. Sourcing & Procurement:

Source physical (devices, tools, uniforms) and digital (licenses, access tokens) components.

Collaborate with procurement, HR, and IT; manage supplier relationships.

Ensure quality, cost-efficiency, lead-time compliance, and ethical sourcing.

3. Kit Assembly & Distribution:

Set up efficient kit assembly and QA workflows.

Manage last-mile logistics across regions (urban, rural, global).

Oversee kit returns, refurbishment, and redeployment cycles.

4. Deployment Readiness:

Align kit prep with team schedules (onboarding, site mobilization).

Track kit status and usage in real time.

Match kits to roles accurately; ensure day-one readiness.

5. Lifecycle & Logistics Management:

Manage full kit lifecycle: sourcing, issuing, tracking, restocking, disposal.

Implement tracking (barcodes, RFID) and maintain inventory levels.

Plan logistics for scheduled and emergency deployments.

6. Governance & Continuous Improvement:

Create SOPs, checklists, and user guides.

Develop dashboards for kit performance, loss rates, and procurement KPIs.

Continuously refine BOMs and improve sourcing and user experience.

Ensure safety, security, and data protection compliance.

Kit Types Supported:

Field Kits: engineering, technical, medical, site inspection

Corporate Kits: onboarding, hybrid/remote work, executive travel

Functional Kits: audit, HR, finance, compliance visits

Requirements:

5+ years in logistics, procurement, operations, or field support

Experience with physical/digital asset management across teams

Familiarity with BOM systems and ERP/HRIS/ITSM platforms

Field deployment or IT operations background is a plus
